Long time DJ, Event Promoter and Rave Party Guru – Sasha Vatoff – is dedicated to reviving the Old Skool party scene where glow sticks, whistles and a tub of vix were the ultimate dance party accessories.

His uber popular Old Skool and Reunion Raves are attracting massive crowds in every major city in Australia and you’ll find everyone from the original warehouse ravers to the modern day clubbers lining up at the doors. With a huge line up of events planned for 2010, these events are Australia’s biggest celebration of dance culture.

We caught up with him and his dog Benson recently in his Sydney studio to capture him in his music making enviro and to talk about the resurgence of the clubbing culture of the 90’s.

Back then, warehouses all over the country were packed every weekend with Ravers who could only find out the location of a party through word of mouth, flyers and street mags like 3D World. These days Sasha uses platforms such as Facebook, and Twitter to promote his events. You should check them out !
